Domain Adaptation

Domain adaptation specializes a model to a target distribution (legal, medical, code, your company’s docs) that differs from pretraining data.

Approaches include CPT on domain text, adapters/LoRA, retrieval over a domain corpus, or all of the above. Measure with domain-specific evals, not only general chat vibes.
